Here are the contents of the 1/25 Revell Dodge Ram VTS Pickup, kit 85-4017, released in 2012. This particular truck was a show circuit only version of Dodge's then-current Ram shortbed pickup powered by a Viper V-10 engine and 6-speed manual transmission. Unfortunately, the real SRT-10 pickup did not go into production until 2004, and Revell's interest in this generation of Dodge truck never progressed beyond this lone kit, though there was an aftermarket 4WD suspension conversion kit available. It's a shame, really, as Revell hit on most of the details and created a well-proportioned kit which could have spawned additional versions.
Overall, it's a well executed model, and though some parts are a bit simplified (engine block and transmission molded as right and left halves, front suspension molded as one piece, etc), the completed model looks much like the real truck, and everything fits together well. The rear cab wall is a bit clunky and atypical as far as model kit pickup bed assemblies go, but I would recommend picking up and building one if you get the chance. A set of Dodge Viper wheels and tires would really help improve things, too.
The decal sheet, featuring white 'skunk' stripes as the main feature:
While four nicely detailed Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires are included, they are totally incorrect for a performance based 2WD truck such as this. Revell likely used the closest tire they had on hand which fit the 17" wheels and called it good enough:
Transparent parts:
Like the real truck, chrome plated parts are sparse:
While this 2012 issue is molded in white plastic, there was an earlier version molded blue plastic, shown below. Same kit, just molded in a no-painitng-needed color:
